Multan—The Christian community alongwith members of civil society and welfare organisations took out a rally against registration of cases against their leader. They rally was lead by Father Shahzad Tanvir, Father Naeem Javed and former MPA and Secretary General All Pakistan Minorities Alliance, Naveed Aamir Geva.
The participants were carrying banners and placards and chanting slogans against police.
Addressing the participants, Secretary General All Pakistan Minorities Alliance, Naveed Aamir Geva, said that fake cases had been registered against Bishop Leu Pall at City police station in Mian Chanu on November 2.
The participants in the rally appealed to Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif to take notice on the issue.
